I learned about the Indiegogo campaign for Shania Watts, an awesomely talented young musician I saw perform on the viola last week. She was selected to compete in the 2015 Sphinx competition in Detroit and now needs help to cover the cost of travel and related expenses. I donated – please consider joining me!
For my birthday weekend, my wonderful husband took me away to Agate Beach, north of Newport, for a much needed weekend away.

After a delicious dinner of fresh local dungeness crab and sharing a bottle of wine, we woke up the next morning and finished the weekend off in Neskowin before heading up Highway 6 back into the city. Happiness :)

  1. Beautiful pics! The west coast beaches are so much more majestic than the east coat. However, I’m a gulf coast woman as I love the calm, warm water. I remember the freezing waters off the coast of California in the summer; it was almost too cold to swim.
