Hi Everyone!

Whether or not you are actively looking for a job, if you have a LinkedIn profile, it needs to look presentable. If you don’t have a LinkedIn profile and you want a job (or to change jobs), no matter what industry you are in, you need one.  I rarely say this about social media, but in this instance, I can’t think of one bad thing to say about having a LinkedIn profile.  Unlike Facebook, it’s not about talking about what you ate for lunch or posting photos of your kids.  LinkedIn is about connecting professionally – from looking for jobs to finding great employees to sharing information, there’s a lot more to this social medium than you might think.

Don’t think your LinkedIn profile content matters?  A recent article from begs to differ – and I can’t agree more.

Thinking about making that job change, transitioning to a new career, or are having trouble getting that initial interview?   Click HERE to learn more about my career coaching services I offer to both local and remote clients.

From Portland to Philly to Central America, I’ve worked with a variety of individuals and love helping them create a sense of organization around their searches, connect them with people who can help them on their path, and get them to think about things they may never have contemplated in the past. 2013 has been an absolute blast as my coaching business has taken off, so while I don’t do a ton of PR, here’s a wee bit of self promotion.  🙂

Thanks!  Enjoy the week!

Aimee (Facebook-free since 2011)
