EcoGrrl-icious GIVEAWAY – Hatching & Brooding Your Own Chicks

Hey y’all!

Just like last week, I thought y’all deserved to have some fun while I’m on holiday…

The good folks at Storey Publishing have provided me a copy of Hatching & Brooding your Own Chicks, a super cool new book with tips on helping us out with hatching not just healthy chickens, but also ducks, turkeys, geese and even guinea fowl! Whether you’re playing mama or papa to 3 or 300, this is a great reference book with lots of easy how-to’s and illustrations to help you along.

Psst – click on the image above to learn more about the book!

So – you want it?  You want it for FREE?  OK here are the hoops I’d like you to jump through to win:

Leave me a comment with the following…

1) Tell me what your favorite egg dish is!  (Me, I’m a Benedict kinda grrl).

2) Share the name of a how-to book that you love!

3) Finally, just like last week, visit one of my favorite blogs listed in the right hand column, then as part of your comment, tell me what you thought was cool about their blog.  Hey, it’s about community – share the love!

Ready – Set – GO!   I’ll announce the winner in my March 8 EcoGrrl-icious column.

Note: Giveaway is open to US residents only.

  1. I’ve moved to hard-boiled these days (from sunny-side up)

    Getting to Yes

Vintage Portland, but I used to live there and I still love it. Portland celebrates its past or more than San Francisco does, and it is much smaller.

  2. Fried potato with an egg cracked over the top and lightly scrambled. Yum! I have a set of old Yankee Back to Basics books – all kinds of cool homestead info, the old fashioned way. And the Food in Jars blog was great, I like to can.
