Goodbye and Thank You

After a summer hiatus and much soul searching, I have decided to close down official operations as Bittersweet.  As many of you know, trying to run a business while also working a full time ‘day job’ can be exhausting, and after the fantastic ride of 2010, I knew deep down that I would not be able to sustain that pace for the 2011 holiday season, and also do the other things in my life that are important to me.  So I want to thank everyone who has supported me as I got this business off the ground, from word-of-mouth to the cafes I sold in to the craft fairs I vendored at to my online customers.  It has been an amazing experiment and I have learned so much, and feel so lucky to have been so successful in such a short time.

Outside of my 9-to-5?  Find me in my garden with my 24 tomato plants, writing up a storm on ecogrrl.com, enjoying a cocktail with friends, or perhaps even wandering the streets of another country this coming spring.  There is so much I can’t wait to do, and I wish you all much love and peace in your own lives that will take you wherever you want to go.

Namaste.
